About Me
My name is Mel, (Army Sgt Major-Ret). Most people say that I am very mature, intelligent and knowledgeable in most things. My outlook on life is to put God First in everything (before, during, and afterward - spare or fulltime), always trying to be happy and by rejoicing in the Day that the Lord has made, having a good outlook on life, e.g; (eat, drink and be merry in the Lord - in moderations and within the law), focusing on helping others (whosoever) too, (if possible)! I study the Word daily to gain some knowledge of the known and unknown (mental exercise). I try to eat properly and do physical exercise (I have a Black Belt in the Korean Art of Taekwondo). I like doing most things: eating out or in (especially barbecuing)! I like dancing, picnics, walks/drives, concerts, movie/TV (theater), biking, playing games like Monopoly, pool, table tennis; etc. I enjoy most sports. Some people say that I am a little bit witty, but not sarcastic. I love to listen to most music, but I may not buy it! My favorites are classic soul, R&B, Blues, Jazz, Gospel. Others I may listen to for awhile, but may not buy. My overall goal is to be a doer of God's Word and not fall for men traditions and speculations. Money isn't everything, but one needs it to adequately exist - to be poor is not a sin; but to stay that way may be.
I am a Bible teacher, and I am seeking Bible Study Partners, Network Friends, and or Pen Pals. I see this as an opportunity to meet Christians/like minded people, and (whosoevers); to plant seeds; and when we seek God First, and wait on Him to lead, guide and direct.
There's no denomination here, or no begging for money or collection/offering, building self ministry, etc. I seek favor with God only, (not humans); who will award me appropriately (Eph 6:8).
We will show you how to rightfully translate His Word, versus transliterating it; by using the proper tools like the Strong's Concordance with numbers that explain each word, Smith Bible Dictionary, etc. You can check every word and get the correct meanings and usages.
Many think that it is required to stop current Bible Study or Church, not so; you do this in the privacy of your home, via internet or TV, 24/7, with 800# for questions. Others wll say there's not enough time or just not interested, etc. Remember, God is always on time, maybe not during our expected microwave timing; but He's an on time God!
Remember, Faith without Works is Dead! (Study to show yourselfapproved to Him and not people; alone/in private: 2Ti 2:15,2Pe 1:20, 1Th 4:11; and be a Doer; then All these things will be added unto you. (Mat 6:33). Finish studying the entire Bible versus getting one/two verses a week, which may take 100 + years, etc. Come on Down! The Price is Right (Absolutely FREE)!!
